Sharks re-sign Clowe to 4-year contract

The San Jose Sharks have re-signed restricted free agent forward Ryane Clowe to a four-year, $14 million contract.

Clowe, 26, notched 22 goals and 30 assists for 52 points in 71 games with the Sharks last season.

In 162 career NHL games, all with the Sharks, Clowe has accumulated 41 goals and 55 assists for 96 points.

He was originally drafted by the Sharks in the sixth-round, 175th overall, of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.
