Penguins sign Scuderi to four-year deal

The Pittsburgh Penguins have signed unrestricted free agent defenseman Rob Scuderi to a four-year, $13.5 million contract.

Scuderi, 34, wrapped up a four-year, $13.6 million contract with the Kings.

In all 48 games with the Kings this past season, Scuderi registered one goals and 11 assists for 12 points.

The two-time Stanley Cup champion has played in 585 career NHL regular-season games with the Pittsburgh Penguins and Kings, and has accumulated seven goals and 79 assists for 86 points.
