Penguins want Moore
TheFourthPeriod.com

According to the Ottawa Sun, the Pittsburgh Penguins hold more than a passing interest in Tampa Bay Lightning forward Dominic Moore.

The 31-year-old holds an affordable $1.1 million cap hit and is set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer.

The veteran center could bring help up front as the Penguins have put up with injuries this season, one that cost them their captain Sidney Crosby who remains out with concussion-like symptoms.

Moore is expected to generate a lot of interest from several teams around the league and could allow the Lightning to get a substantial return as the team is seeking to boost up its defense and goaltending.

In 47 games with the Bolts this season, Moore has recorded four goals and 13 assists for 17 points, and 46 penalty minutes.
