Over the last few seasons, the Pittsburgh Penguins have been busy bolstering their roster for a run at the Stanley Cup.
With the trade deadline four weeks away, in an attempt to defend their title, the Penguins could be all set to pull the trigger on a deal or two before Mar. 3.
According to the New York Post, Carolina Hurricanes left wing Ray Whitney and St. Louis Blues left wing Paul Kariya could be on the Penguins' radar.
Both Whitney and Kariya have a no-trade clause in their contracts and would have to approve any deal their teams try to make.
The Penguins aren't the only team trying to make a splash, though. It's believed the Boston Bruins, Detroit Red Wings, Montreal Canadiens and Los Angeles Kings are also interested in Whitney and Kariya.
