The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-signed unrestricted free agent forward Ruslan Fedotenko to a one-year, $1.8 million contract.
Fedotenko, 30, tallied 16 goals and 23 assists for 39 points, to go along with a plus-18 rating, in 65 games with the Penguins last season. He also notched seven goals and seven assists in 24 playoff games, helping Pittsburgh win the Stanley Cup.
In 597 career NHL games with the Philadelphia Flyers, Tampa Bay Lightning, New York Islanders and Penguins, Fedotenko has accumulated 139 goals and 139 assists for 278 points.
