Penguins focused on Orpik TheFourthPeriod.com
The Penguins have put much of their attention on trying to re-sign unrestricted free agent defenseman Brooks Orpik, reports the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
While Orpik has received much interest from other clubs around the league, the paper claims his preference is to re-sign with the Penguins.
Various reports suggest the Penguins have pitched another offer to keep Orpik. The Penguins have also tabled a five-year offer for Marian Hossa, worth just over $7 million per season.
