Perlini signs entry-level contract

The Arizona Coyotes announced today that they have signed 2014 first round draft choice Brendan Perlini to a three-year entry-level contract.

As per club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

"We are very pleased to sign Brendan to an entry-level contract," said Coyotes GM Don Maloney. "Brendan is a strong skater with great size and skill. He had an impressive prospect development camp and we look forward to watching his development."

Perlini, 18, registered 34 goals and 37 assists for 71 points in 58 games with the Niagara IceDogs of the OHL last season.

The native of Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., was selected by the Coyotes in the first round (12th overall) of the 2014 NHL Draft.
