Coyotes getting calls on Yandle
TheFourthPeriod.com

The Arizona Coyotes have received plenty of interest in veteran star defenseman Keith Yandle, though a trade is not believed to be imminent.

Yandle, 27, has two-years left on his contract, which comes with a $5.25 million annual salary cap hit.

The Boston native is due $5.5 million next season in actual salary, and $5.75 million in 2015-16.

TFP Editor-in-Chief David Pagnotta reported mid-week that the Coyotes were exploring the market on Yandle, and TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger reported on Thursday that the Coyotes are "definitely willing" to move him.

Several teams have inquired about Yandle's availability and it appears a few have inched closer to a potential deal.

Talks are expected to carry into July, if a deal is not consummated by the end of the month.
