With their playoff hopes dwindling, the Phoenix Coyotes are receiving a number of inquiries about center Olli Jokinen's available.
Jokinen, 30, was traded to Phoenix in the summer from the Florida Panthers for defensemen Keith Ballard and Nick Boynton.
During last night's Hotstove segment of CBC's Hockey Night in Canada with Ron MacLean, Al Strachan, Mike Milbury and Pierre Lebrun, Milbury hinted that Jokinen "might fit in better somewhere else."
Lebrun indicated that the Coyotes may not necessarily be shopping Jokinen, but "a lot of teams are phoning" inquiring about his availability.
The Montreal Canadiens, Minnesota Wild and Columbus Blue Jackets are among the teams believed to be interested in Jokinen.
Phoenix could also dangle a number of players between now and the trade deadline, including defensemen Ken Klee and Derek Morris, and center Steven Reinprecht.
Morris has also attracted plenty of interest, but he has a no-trade clause and would have to approve any deal the team makes.
