The Philadelphia Flyers have multiple players they can move before tomorrow's 3pm ET trade deadline and GM Ron Hextall appears to be fairly active.
Goalies Steve Mason and Michal Neuvirth and defensemen Mark Streit, Nick Schultz and Michael Del Zotto are among the Flyers up for grabs.
All five players are in the final year of their contracts and most of them understand a trade is out of their control and seem to be taking everything in stride.
"I'm prepared for anything," Mason told the Philadelphia Inquirer.
For some, like Streit, however, it can be a stressful time.
"It's certainly not easy," he told the paper, "there's no other way to say it."
The Flyers currently sit six points back of the Toronto Maple Leafs for the final wild card spot in the Eastern Conference and have been slipping.
Hextall admitted recently that he is not going to enter the buyer's market and could move a few of his assets for prospects and draft picks.
The Edmonton Oilers and San Jose Sharks are among the teams believed to have expressed interest in Neuvirth.
