McGinn, 23, recorded 20 goals and 15 assists for 35 points and 62 penalty minutes in 54 games with Adirondack of the AHL last season. He also tallied four goals and one assist in 18 games with the Flyers.
The native of Fergus, Ontario, was originally drafted by the Flyers in the fourth round (119th overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
Schultz, 31, split the 2013-14 season between the Edmonton Oilers and Columbus Blue Jackets, posting five assists and 28 penalty minutes in 69 total games.
He has played in 880 NHL regular-season games with Minnesota, Edmonton and Columbus and has accumulated 27 goals and 119 assists for 146 points, along with 384 penalty minutes.
Schultz was drafted in the second round (33rd overall) by the Wild in the team's first-ever NHL Entry Draft in 2000.
