Flyers still trying to trade Lecavalier
TheFourthPeriod.com

The Philadelphia Flyers are still hoping to trade center Vincent Lecavalier and free up some salary cap space, but the deal has to make sense.

According to CapGeek.com, the Flyers are already $1.236 million over the salary cap.

The Flyers almost had a deal ironed out with the Nashville Predators on Monday, but that deal hinged on the Flyers taking on some of Lecavalier's salary.

It's believed the Flyers and Predators have resumed talks, especially since the Flyers paid Lecavalier a $2 million bonus today.

In addition to the Predators, it's believed the Flyers have also spoken with the Buffalo Sabres and Florida Panthers about Lecavalier.
