Sens looking around league
TheFourthPeriod.com

The Ottawa Senators are exploring what other teams may have available, as the club is believed to be interested in making a move to strengthen its roster.

Senators GM Pierre Dorion took in the New York Islanders game against the Vegas Golden Knights in Brooklyn on Monday, prompting speculation that he could be eyeing a member from either team.

It's unclear what area the Sens are looking to improve, though the team may be trying to upgrade its overall team defense.

The Senators have a tiny bit over $5 million in available salary cap space and have the flexibility of add to their team, but any significant move is likely to include a roster player going the other way.

Whether Dorion takes in any more games of either the Islanders or Knights remains to be seen, but he is scouring the NHL for options.
