Sens continue to watch Moulson

The Senators have had an eye on Buffalo Sabres left wing Matt Moulson for several weeks and the Ottawa Sun suggests he's their No. 1 target.

Moulson is in the final year of his contract and is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent July 1.

It has been widely speculated that the Sabres will trade Moulson prior to the March 5 trade deadline, and the Senators are hoping they can acquire him.

Senators GM Bryan Murray is looking to acquire a top-six winger to play alongside center Jason Spezza.

Several teams have also expressed an interest in Moulson, including the Phoenix Coyotes, Los Angeles Kings, Montreal Canadiens, New York Rangers, Detroit Red Wings and Vancouver Canucks.
