925 might be enough
TheFourthPeriod.com

Defenseman Chris Phillips might have scored his last goal in a Senators uniform last night, in his 925th NHL game with the club, reports the Ottawa Sun.

Phillips, 32, could be traded by Monday's 3pm ET deadline if a new contract isn't agreed upon, and as of Saturday night, the two sides seemed far apart on a salary.

"I took some time getting unchanged. It could be my last game," Phillips told the Sun. "We'll see what happens. It's been a while (since I scored). With everything going on, to erase the zero that's been there all year feels good."

It's believed the Montreal Canadiens, Buffalo Sabres, Vancouver Canucks and Washington Capitals have all inquired about Phillips' services, with the Habs still considered the front runners.

"We'll see what further developments (there have been) and what happened, if anything," Phillips said.
