Senators captain Daniel Alfredsson has spent his entire NHL career with the Sens and doesn't plan on playing anywhere else before that career is over, reports the Ottawa Sun.
Alfredsson, 36, was asked yesterday if he could see himself playing for another team and seemed yet on finishing his career in Ottawa.
"Probably not," Alfredsson said.
"I can't see (asking for a move). Never say never. It could happen in the future, but I don't think it's probable."
Alfredsson believes the Senators have the tools to compete for the Stanley Cup and he wants to win a championship with his only NHL club.
"I think, us as an organization, are doing really good and I think we're on our way up again," he said. "It's so close now and if you make the playoffs, you have a chance.
"There might be a few teams before the start of the season where you can say this team has a better chance than the others. (But) look at Pittsburgh last year, people were wondering by Christmas if they would even make the playoffs. They fire the coach and end up winning the Cup."

I can't really see Alfredsson playing anywhere else, either. He loves Ottawa and wants to wrap up his career there. -- David Pagnotta
