The Ottawa Senators have re-signed unrestricted free agent right wing Chris Neil to a four-year contract worth $2 million per season.

Last week, Neil has rejected a deal worth $1.7 million and today he entertained offers from other clubs.

Neil, 30, played in 60 games with the Senators last season and registered three goals, seven assists and 146 penalty minutes.

In 511 career NHL games, all with the Senators, Neil has accumulated 61 goals and 73 assists for 134 points, with 1,298 penalty minutes.

Neil was originally Ottawa's 6th-round pick, 161st overall, in the 1998 NHL Draft.
