Sens to make a move?

TheFourthPeriod.com

Now that Senators star Jason Spezza will miss the next four-to-six weeks with a knee injury, the team might look to make a trade, reports the Ottawa Sun.

According to the paper, if Senators GM John Muckler was thinking about making a deal to help his floundering team out, now might be the time to pull the trigger.

The Sun claims the Senators have long been interested in Pittsburgh Penguins winger Ryan Malone.

The Sens tried to get him at the trade deadline last year and could be after him again.

Malone, who turned 27 on Dec. 1, is making $1.3 million this season and has notched five goal and five assists in 16 games with the Pens.
