Callahan injured in victory
TheFourthPeriod.com

New York Rangers captain Ryan Callahan reportedly suffered an upper-body injury during a third-period fight with Philadelphia Flyers forward Max Talbot.

Callahan, 27, dropped the gloves with Talbot in the third period of Tuesday's 2-1 victory over the Flyers, but immediately left the ice at the end of the fight.

He headed to the locker room, hunched over and appearing to favor his left shoulder or arm.

The Blueshirts captain did not return to the contest. It remains to be seen how severe the injury is and how long it could keep Callahan out of action.

In six games with the Rangers this season, Callahan has recorded two goals.
