Rangers on the lookout
TheFourthPeriod.com

According to ESPN.com, the New York Rangers are looking for either a top-six forward who can generate some offense or a powerplay quarterback on the blueline.

However, the Blueshirts are one of several teams keeping an eye on Nashville, where the Predators still need to sign two impending free agents, defensemen Ryan Suter and Shea Weber.

The Preds maintain that they hope to sign both blueliners to extension, but could require moving one of them to boost their playoff hopes.

The Rangers would surely covet either one of those big bodies to add to their already intimidating defense.
