Clutterbuck signs four-year deal

The New York Islanders have agreed to terms with right wing Cal Clutterbuck on a four-year, $11 million contract.

Clutterbuck, 25, registered four goals and six assists for 10 points in 42 games with the Minnesota Wild last season.

The Islanders acquired Clutterbuck from the Wild, along with a third-round pick in the 2013 NHL Draft, in exchange for Nino Niederreiter, on June 30.

In 346 career NHL games, all with the Wild, Clutterbuck has accumulated 62 goals and 48 assists for 110 points.

The Wild selected Clutterbuck in the third round (72nd overall) of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
