Isles sign Regin, Bouchard

The New York Islanders have signed forwards Pierre-Marc Bouchard and Peter Regin to one-year contract.

Regin, 27, recorded three assists in 27 games last season with the Ottawa Senators.

In 178 career NHL games, Regin has accumulated 19 goals and 26 assists for 55 points with a plus-5 rating.

Bouchard, who will earn $2 million on his new deal, registered eight goals and 12 assists for 20 points in 43 games with the Minnesota Wild this past season.

The native of Sherbrooke, Quebec, has accumulated 106 goals and 241 assists for 347 points over 565 career NHL regular-season games with the Minnesota Wild.

Bouchard, 29, was originally drafted eighth-overall by the Wild in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.
