Islanders trying to sign Satan

The New York Islanders are trying to bring back veteran right wing Miroslav Satan and are in talks with his agent.

Allan Walsh, who represents Satan, confirmed on his Twitter account earlier today that he's "currently in negotiations" with the Islanders.

Satan spent three seasons in Long Island (2005-06, 2006-07, 2007-08) before signing with the Pittsburgh Penguins last summer.

In 1,012 career NHL games with the Edmonton Oilers, Buffalo Sabres, Islanders and Penguins, Satan has accumulated 354 goals and 367 assists for 721 points.

He was originally drafted by the Oilers in the fifth-round, 111th overall, of the 1993 NHL Entry Draft.
