Larsson inks one-year contract

The New Jersey Devils have re-signed restricted free agent defenseman Adam Larsson to a one-year, $900,000 contract, TFP has confirmed.

Larsson, 21, collected one goal, two assists and 12 penalty minutes in 26 games with the Devils this past season.

The native of Skelleftea, Sweden, has played in 128 career NHL regular-season games over three season with the Devils and has accumulated three goals and 24 assists for 27 points, along with 44 penalty minutes.

Larsson was drafted fourth-overall by the Devils in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
