Clarkson in Austria
TheFourthPeriod.com

New Jersey Devils winger David Clarkson took part in some Collective Bargaining Agreement meetings over the past few weeks, but will now take his game to Austria.

Clarkson, 28, will reportedly join Winnipeg Jets defenseman Tobias Enstrom on the roster of EC Red Bull Salzburg.

The veteran forward played late into the summer last season after losing the Stanley Cup to the Los Angeles Kings, but is definitely ready to lace up the skates again.

Clarkson landed in Austria with his family late this morning and is expected to start training with the team on Thursday.

In 80 games with the Devils last season, Clarkson collected 30 goals and 16 assists for 46 points.
