Yesterday's gigantic acquisition of Ilya Kovalchuk shocked the hockey world, but that doesn't mean the Devils are done dealing.
New Jersey GM Lou Lamoriello has been looking for a second-line center for several weeks and the addition of Kovalchuk doesn't affect the team's search.
The New York Post reported earlier this week that the Devils were eyeing Matt Stajan, whom Toronto traded to Calgary, and Olli Jokinen, whom Calgary dealt to the New York Rangers.
It's believed the Devils are interested in Anaheim Ducks center Saku Koivu and Carolina Hurricanes center Matt Cullen, and the Post suggests they may even consider bringing in Dallas Stars veteran Mike Modano.
