As TFP was the first to report, the New Jersey Devils have signed unrestricted free agent forward Dainius Zubrus to a six-year contract worth $20.4 million.
Zubrus, 29, split last season between the Washington Capitals and Buffalo Sabres and finished the year with 24 goals and 36 assists for 60 points.
In 689 career NHL games with the Philadelphia Flyers, Montreal Canadiens, Capitals and Sabres, Zubrus has accumulated 138 goals and 222 assists for 360 points.
Zubrus was originally drafted by the Flyers in the first-round (15th overall) of the 1996 NHL Entry Draft.
