Still no no-trade clause for Weber
TheFourthPeriod.com

As soon as the Nashville Predators matched the offer sheet for star defenseman Shea Weber, the discussions shifted to the possibility of adding a no-trade or no-movement clause to his new deal.

The Tennessean has noted that there have been some talk between Preds management and Weber regarding this addition, but there has yet to be a resolution.

"We've discussed it," Poile told the paper, "but we have not resolved that yet."

The addition of a no-trade or no-movement clause could provide the 26-year-old blueliner some peace of mind and would limit the Predators' options if they decided to eventually trade their captain.

In 78 games with the Preds last season, Weber posted 19 goals and 30 assists for 49 points.
