Kostitsyn won't return to Nashville
TheFourthPeriod.com

The Nashville Predators have indicated that they will not re-sign forward Andrei Kostitsyn to a new contract for next season, the Toronto Sun reports.

The 27-year-old will hit the market as an unrestricted free agent on July 1.

The news comes shortly after the Predators announced that they were not going to re-sign forward Alexander Radulov, whose rights could be traded for draft pick or a young player.

Kostitsyn was in hot water during the playoffs, as he and Radulov were suspended for one game for missing curfew during the semi-finals against the Phoenix Coyotes.

After being traded to the Predators from the Montreal Canadiens, Kostitsyn collected four goals and assists for 12 points in 19 regular-season games.
