Preds taking offers for Lindback
TheFourthPeriod.com

According to the Edmonton Journal, the Nashville Predators are expected to be taking offers for backup netminder Anders Lindback at the end of the season.

Since GM David Poile has locked up starting goalie Pekka Rinne to a seven-year, $49 million contract, Lindback is reportedly wishing to become the starter somewhere else in the league.

"He doesn't get a chance to play, but he can be a very good one," one NHL team executive told the Journal.

So far this season, the 23-year old Lindback has played in nine games, in which he has registered a .898 save percentage and 2.65 goals-against-average.

However, the Preds are not likely to give him away for cheap, as they are looking to acquire forwards who can play immediately over young prospects.
