Radulov not returning to Predators

Predators forward Alexander Radulov will not be suiting up for the club next season, as he'll continue to play in the KHL, the Nashville City Paper reports.

Predators GM David Poile confirmed that despite the team's efforts, Radulov won't be back next year.

"I talked to Jay Grossman, (Radulov's) agent, a few times (Wednesday)," Poile told the City Paper. "... He's not coming back."

Radulov, who spent the 2008-09 campaign in the Russian KHL, has one-year remaining on his contract with the Predators.

According to the City Paper, Radulov's NHL contract has been suspended, which means he still owes the Predators one season whenever he decides to return to the NHL.

From the Editor: Not really surprised here. I think Radulov will wait until his KHL contract is up before returning to the NHL. -- David Pagnotta.
