Habs re-sign White
TheFourthPeriod.com

The Montreal Canadiens have re-signed restricted free agent center Ryan White to a one-year, $700,000 contract.

White, 25, had filed for salary arbitration, but that will now be avoided.

In 26 games with the Canadiens last season, White tallied one goal, 67 penalty minutes and a plus-1 rating.

In 89 career NHL regular-season games, White has accumulated three goals and eight assists for 11 points, and 182 penalty minutes.

The Brandon, Manitoba native was originally drafted by the Canadiens in the third-round (66th overall) of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
