White signs 1-year deal
TheFourthPeriod.com

The Montreal Canadiens have re-signed forward Ryan White to a one-year, $687,500 contract.

The 24-year-old, who earned $625,000 last year, was limited to just three assists in 20 games this past season with the Habs, after suffering a sports hernia during training camp.

White has collected two goals and eight assists for 10 points, and 115 penalty minutes in 63 career NHL games.

The rugged forward was selected in the third round, 66th overall by the Habs in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
