Will the Habs opt for Ott?
TheFourthPeriod.com

The Dallas Stars are still looking to move gritty forward Steve Ott, but the team could choose to hold on to him if the right package doesn't present itself.

As ESPN's Pierre LeBrun explained, Ott is available, but a trade isn't guaranteed.

The 29-year-old was first made available before the trade deadline under similar conditions, but had expressed the desire to remain in Dallas.

After the Stars dealt forward Mike Ribeiro to the Washington Capitals during Draft weekend, the team might look to add at center and could move Ott as part of a deal.

LeBrun personally believes that Ott would be a great fit for the Montreal Canadiens, who appear to need a tough-guy who can add grit and win in the faceoff circles.

In 74 games with the Stars this past season, Ott collected 11 goals and 28 assists for 39 points, and 156 penalty minutes.
