Canadiens GM Bob Gainey seems to be fairly fed up with his team's performance so far and is looking to make a trade, reports the Ottawa Sun.
Gainey met with his scouting staff before Friday night's win against the Washington Capitals and it's believed he is trying to trade Andrei and Sergei Kostitsyn in a package deal.
The Sun claims the Edmonton Oilers are interest in the Kostitsyn brothers, and various reports have linked forward Andrew Cogliano to trade talk.
The paper also suggests a number of teams may be interested in Oilers center Shawn Horcoff, but he's unlikely to be dealt.
Both the Kostitsyn brothers have underperformed so far this season, and Sergei has spent the year in the AHL, must to his displeasure.
