Former Canadiens head coach Guy Carbonneau might not be out of a job for too long, as he's been linked to the Minnesota Wild vacant coaching position.
According to Montreal's La Presse, Carbonneau's goal is to coach again next season and it's believed Minnesota is interested in his services.
"I won't be choosing where I will end up," Carbonneau told La Presse. "We'll see. But I think that I would like to return behind the bench next season. I'd like to put myself back to work; like I did with the Canadiens. I enjoyed my head coaching experience and I'd like to continue."
From the Editor: Carbonneau will get a job somewhere, though I believe Minnesota's top priority is to get a GM first. Once a new GM is in place, then they'll focus on getting a new head coach. -- David Pagnotta.
