Gaborik skating, trade talks resume

TheFourthPeriod.com

Minnesota Wild forward Marian Gaborik began skating this past week, but the star sniper isn't about to return to game-action just yet, reports the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.

"Not yet," Wild coach Jacques Lemaire told the paper.

The Star-Tribune suggests the Wild will not risk bringing Gaborik back too early in the event that he reinjures himself.

"Getting closer," Gaborik told the paper, "but I don't think [I'm ready yet]."

As Gaborik continues to work towards a return, various reports suggests trade talks are beginning to start up again. Nothing appears imminent, however, and likely won't be until well into the New Year.

The Los Angeles Kings are among the teams still very interested in Gaborik.
