Wild hot for Huselius TheFourthPeriod.com
The Minneapolis Star-Tribune is reporting the Wild would like to add a winger and a center and are hot on the trail of two unidentified players.
According to the paper, the Wild is extremely interested in Calgary Flames free agent Kristian Huselius.
"We will speak again [Wednesday]," Huselius' agent, Don Meehan, told the Star-Tribune.
If the Wild is unable to sign a top-six forward, Wild GM Doug Risebrough suggests something else "big" could happen, leaving many to speculate a trade is on the horizon.
The Wild may also be interested in such free agents as Sean Avery, Brendan Morrison, Markus Naslund and Jason Williams.
