Kings re-sign King to 3-year deal
TheFourthPeriod.com

The Los Angeles Kings have re-signed restricted free agent forward Dwight King to a three-year, $5.85 million contract.

King was scheduled to have an arbitration hearing Aug. 1, but that has now been cancelled.

The 25-year-old native of Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, registered 15 goals and 15 assists for 30 points, along with 18 penalty minutes and a plus-16 rating in 77 games with the Kings last season.

In 157 career regular-season games, all with the Kings, King has accumulated 24 goals and 30 assists for 54 points.

King was originally drafted by the Kings in the fourth-round (109th overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
