Kings re-sign forward Clifford

The Los Angeles Kings have re-signed restricted free agent left wing Kyle Clifford to a two-year contract, TFP has confirmed.

Clifford, 22, registered seven goals and seven assists for 14 points, along with 51 penalty minutes, in 48 games with the Kings this past season.

The native of Ayr, Ontario, has accumulated 19 goals and 21 assists for 40 points, along with 315 penalty minutes, in 205 career regular-season games over three seasons with the Kings.

Clifford was a member of the Kings during their 2011-12 Stanley Cup championship season.

He was originally drafted by the Kings in the second-round (35th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
