The Kings acquired left wing Marco Sturm from the Boston Bruins last month.
According to various reports, the Kings are dangling the likes of Wayne Simmonds and Thomas Hickey as trade bait.
It's believed Brayden Schenn has attracted a lot of interest, as well. While Lombardi would consider a move involving his prized prospect if the Kings were to acquire a young, first-line forward, such a deal is not likely.
The Kings have reportedly inquired about Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Francois Beauchemin, Edmonton Oilers forward Ales Hemsky and Buffalo Sabres winger Thomas Vanek.
