The Los Angeles Kings have re-signed restricted free agent defenseman Jack Johnson to a two-year, $2.85 million contract.

Johnson, 22, matched a career-high with 11 points (6 goals, 5 assists) and recorded 46 penalty minutes in 41 regular season games this past season.

He was originally drafted by Carolina in the first-round (3rd overall) of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
