As TFP was the first to report, the Los Angeles Kings have signed unrestricted free agent forwards Michal Handzus and Ladislav Nagy to long-term contracts.

According to a source, Handzus will receive more than $4 million, per season, over the length of his new contract.

TFP has also confirmed that the Kings have signed free agent winger Kyle Calder to a two-year contract.

Handzus, 30, played in only eight games with the Chicago Blackhawks last season after suffering a knee injury. In those eight games, he managed to score three goals and five assists.

In 517 career NHL games with the Blackhawks, Philadelphia Flyers, Phoenix Coyotes and St. Louis Blues, Handzus has totals of 115 goals and 185 assists.

Nagy, 28, played in 80 regular-season games with the Coyotes and Dallas Stars last season, registering 12 goals and 43 assists for 55 points.

Nagy has played in 397 regular-season games and has accumulated 106 goals and 179 assists for 285 points.

Calder, 28, appeared in 78 games with the Detroit Red Wings and Flyers last season and registered 14 goals and 21 assists for 35 points.

In 437 career NHL games, Calder has accumulated 99 goals and 146 assists for 245 points.
