Kulikov out with knee injury
TheFourthPeriod.com

Florida Panthers defenseman Dmitry Kulikov underwent knee surgery on Monday and is expected to be sidelined for six-to-eight weeks, the Miami Herald reports.

Kulikov, 21, was injured during Saturday's shootout win against the Jets in Winnipeg but remained in the game.

The Panthers called up blueliner Tyson Strachan from their affiliate club in San Antonio to fill his roster spot against the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday.

The team has mentioned that Kulikov's surgery was minor and he is expected to fully recover.

In 46 games this season, Kulikov has recorded four goals and 20 assists for 24 points.
