Panthers waiting for answers
TheFourthPeriod.com

The Panthers pitched several offers to a variety of free agents yesterday and the South-Florida Sun-Sentinel reports they're waiting to hear back from them.

"We made a couple of offers to some players," Panthers GM Dale Tallon told the paper. "We're just waiting to see where that leads."

Tallon wouldn't confirm who the Panthers made offers to, though various reports suggests they're interested in the likes of Matthew Lombardi, Patrick O'Sullivan, Alex Frolov and Willie Mitchell.

It's also believed the Panthers made an offer to top prized UFA Ilya Kovalchuk, however the superstar sniper is reportedly not interested in signing with Florida.
