Panthers active in the trade market
TheFourthPeriod.com

According to the Ottawa Sun, the Florida Panthers are looking to make a trade and have contacted every team in the league.

Panthers GM Randy Sexton has denied shopping the likes of forwards Nathan Horton and Rostislav Olesz, however the Sun has reported several times this season that both players are available.

The Sun claims Sexton "is ready to hit the panic button," however it's uncertain if any trades are imminent.

The Panthers currently sit 13th in the NHL with an 11-13-5 record.

Florida wants help up front, specifically up the middle. The Panthers want a big centerman, and I'm not too sure how many are available at this point in the season. -- David Pagnotta
