Panthers captain Olli Jokinen told the Palm Beach Post he expects his team to make changes.
"There are changes in every team," he said. "There's probably not one team that (won't) make any moves. Anaheim is a first-place team and they're still making trades. It's part of the business and it's always been there.
"The last five or six years we've been outside the playoffs and all the talk (has been) who we're going to lose. We haven't been talking about how we can improve our team. The questions are getting a little old."
Florida is expected to make a number of deals between now and the deadline, and the likes of Bertuzzi, Martin Gelinas, Gary Roberts, Ed Belfour, Joel Kwiatkowski and Jozef Stumpel could be on the move.
Various reports also suggest the Panthers have received offers for Jokinen and Nathan Horton, but it would take a tremendous deal for GM Jacques Martin to move either player.
