KC KAC Klagenfurt of the Austrian League has reportedly agreed to terms with Edmonton Oilers forward Sam Gagner.
Gagner, 23, is the second notable NHL player to join Klagenfurt in the past few days. The club also acquired the services of Buffalo Sabres young defenseman Tyler Myers over the weekend.
The veteran forward could be looking to carry over the positive momentum of the past season. On Feb. 2, 2012, Gagner tied a team record set by Wayne Gretzky and Paul Coffey by scoring eight points (4 goals and 4 assists) in a win over the Chicago Blackhawks.
In 75 games with the Oilers last season, Gagner posted 18 goals and 29 assists for 47 points.
