The Edmonton Oilers have agreed to terms with defenseman Theo Peckham on a one-year, $1.075 million contract.
Peckham, 24, played in 54 games last season with the Oilers scoring a goal with two assists and 80 penalty minutes.
The Richmond Hill, Ontario native has spent his entire career of five years with Edmonton and in 156 NHL games he has 17 points (4G, 13A) with 382 penalty minutes.
Peckham was selected by Edmonton in the third-round, 75th overall, of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
