Oilers GM Steve Tambellini could be a very busy man between now and the March 3 trade deadline, as the team is expected to make a number of moves.
According to the Edmonton Sun, the Oilers' players are also expected some major shakeup.
"When you're in this situation you're on full alert," Oilers center Shawn Horcoff, who has seen his name tossed around the rumor mill, told the Sun. "You know there's going to be changes. It's not 'if,' it's 'when.'
"Whether it's at the deadline, whether it's in July, who knows. They're coming."
It's believed the Oilers are actively trying to trade the likes of defenseman Sheldon Souray, and forwards Horcoff, Ethan Moreau and Fernando Pisani.
